Statement: Nuctech Calls for Fair, Fact-Based Assessment in EU FSR Investigation

Recently, European Commission initiated an in-depth investigation into Nuctech under its Foreign Subsidies Regulation. The investigation is a procedural step under the relevant rules, not the final conclusion.

Nuctech will, in accordance with legal and procedural rules, engage in professional and transparent communication with the European Commission to comprehensively address its concerns, clarify the facts, eliminate misunderstandings, and effectively safeguard the company's legal rights and interests.

As a high-tech enterprise that has long adhered to market-oriented principles and has been in the European market for 20 years, Nuctech is committed to providing value to its European and global customers through innovative technologies and high-quality products. The company strictly abides by international trade rules, including fair competition. We believe that a healthy and stable China-EU economic and trade relationship is in the common interest of both sides, and a fair and non-discriminatory business environment is an important cornerstone for maintaining this relationship.

We expect the European Commission, in conducting this investigation, to adhere to World Trade Organization rules and internationally accepted principles of fair competition, base its conclusions on facts, and avoid non-economic interference or preconceived judgments.

We are willing to continue to cooperate actively with the relevant procedures in an open and cooperative manner, and believe that through constructive dialogue, this investigation can be handled fairly. Nuctech will continue to focus on technological innovation and serving the global and European market, firmly uphold the multilateral trading system, and contribute to the positive interaction and sustainable development of the Chinese, European and global economies.
